Our History
For over two decades, they have been making a significant impact on the lives of many women in Palm Beach County. In 2022, a pivotal change occurred when the Foundation separated from the Women's Chamber of Commerce on July 1st. This separation led to a rebranding, and the organization emerged as the Women's Red Apple Foundation of Palm Beach County.
As a 501(c)(3) organization registered in the State of Florida, the Women's Red Apple Foundation continues to focus on providing scholarship programs that contribute to women's current and future economic success. The Foundation's iconic symbol, the red apple, has been a constant throughout its history. This symbol has played a crucial role in fundraising efforts, with donations often collected in red apple-shaped banks during events. The red apple not only serves as a visual representation of the Foundation but also symbolizes education and growth.
Since the scholarship program’s inception in 2003, the Women's Red Apple Foundation has been committed to providing scholarships to a diverse group of women. These include both graduating high school seniors embarking on their college journeys and women seeking to further their education later in life. This inclusive approach ensures that women at various stages of their educational and professional paths can benefit from the Foundation's support.
Through its scholarship programs and mentoring initiatives, the Women's Red Apple Foundation continues to uplift and inspire women in the Palm Beach County community. By providing financial assistance and guidance, the Foundation plays a crucial role in helping women achieve their educational goals and, ultimately, contribute to their own economic success and that of their community.

Our Iconic Apple
The Women's Red Apple Foundation of Palm Beach County has a rich history that spans over two decades, with the red apple serving as its enduring icon since its inception. As the Foundation entered its 20th year, a desire to create a visual representation that strongly embodied its mission and values led to the development of a new, thoughtfully designed logo.
This new emblem is a powerful fusion of symbolism and purpose. At its core, the apple continues to represent the fruit of knowledge, a timeless symbol in education. However, the design goes further, incorporating elements that speak directly to the Foundation's goals and the journey of the women it supports.
The apple in the logo is cleverly depicted with slices that resemble the pages of an open book. This imagery beautifully captures the essence of learning and the opening of new chapters in one's life through education. It's a visual metaphor for the doors that education can open and the wealth of knowledge waiting to be discovered. Perhaps the most inspiring element of the logo is the figure reaching for a star. This dynamic image illustrates the aspirational nature of education and personal development. It represents the women supported by the Foundation - reaching higher, striving for their goals, and aiming for the stars. This part of the logo encapsulates the Foundation's role in empowering women to pursue their dreams and achieve their full potential. By combining these elements - the apple of knowledge, the book-like pages, and the figure reaching for a star - the new logo tells a compelling story. It speaks to the Foundation's commitment to education, its role in opening opportunities, and its mission to support women in their journey of growth and achievement.
This thoughtful rebranding, coinciding with the Foundation's 20th year marks a new chapter in the organization's history. While maintaining its core mission of supporting women's education, the Women's Red Apple Foundation of Palm Beach County now has a visual identity that truly reflects its values and aspirations for the women it serves.
